Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism
and the Creative Economy

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy (FMACTCE) was created on 23rd October, 2024 after a merger between the defunct Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy and Federal Ministry of Tourism by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Ministry will serve as a beacon of hope and progress in the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration. The creative economy in Nigeria has long thrived independently, but with the inception of the Ministry, a new era of government support and guidance has emerged. The Ministry is dedicated to bridging the gap by offering updated policy guides that adapt to the cultural and technological shifts sweeping across Africa and the global stage. FMACTCE is not just a Ministry; it is a catalyst for innovation, growth, and the empowerment of Nigeria’s vibrant cultural and creative sector. Vision of the Ministry
