To achieve our set objectives, Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy has embarked on several critical initiative and programmes to drive inclusive growth and develop our Creative Economy.
Creative Leap Acceleration Program
CLAP is aimed at building skills, knowledge, and capabilities in the creative economy, providing mentorship, content distribution, assisting creators access to funding, IP marketplace and many more hence fostering a new generation of creative professionals. The program targets talent development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and support for the entire creative sector.

Origins is a data management platform developed as central database to analyze data on Nigeria's cultural and creative industries. It enables informed policymaking, attracts investments, and boosts global competitiveness by offering real-time insights to stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and driving economic growth in these sectors.
Creative Renaissance Project (Heritage Preservation)
The Creative Renaissance Project is a heritage preservation initiative by the Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy. It focuses on safeguarding Nigeria’s rich cultural history through digital archiving, restoration of cultural assets, and fostering artistic expression. By leveraging modern technology, this project ensures that traditional art forms, historical landmarks, and indigenous knowledge are preserved for future generations while promoting cultural appreciation and creative growth in both local and global contexts.
CultuRise (Infrastructure)
The Culture Rise Initiative focuses on the strategic development of infrastructure in Nigeria's creative and cultural sectors. The initiative encompasses projects such as the Renewed Hope Creative City, Abuja Creative City and other projects such as Mood Concept for immersive cultural experiences, the Art Village Redevelopment to enhance artistic spaces, Mefa Arenas for large-scale events, and the Model Creative City, which serves as a blueprint for future creative urban centers. These hubs and the National Entertainment Hub Center aim to create inclusive environments that foster growth, collaboration, and innovation across the creative sector, helping to position Nigeria as a leader in the global creative economy.
I.P Shield (IP Protection)
This project focused on enhancing intellectual property (IP) protection in Nigeria’s creative sector to safeguard creators' rights and foster innovation. It addresses existing challenges in IP protection by developing a more supportive legal framework, making it easier for creators to protect and monetize their works. This effort is part of a broader partnership between the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy (FMACCE) and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), aiming to reform national IP policies and create a business-friendly environment that supports the growth of the creative economy.
CultureTek (Using Culture to Promote Technology)
CultureTek seeks to harness technology to drive the modernization of Nigeria's creative sector. By embracing digitization and virtual platforms, it aims to preserve Nigerian cultural heritage while expanding global reach and accessibility. Key projects under this initiative include the creation of virtual galleries and the digitization of cultural assets to enhance engagement with Nigerian culture in innovative ways, Cultural Odyssey Jam Project and other projects under this initiatives.
Art.ention Nigeria (Art Restoration, Residences, etc.)
Art.ention Nigeria initiative focuses on preserving, restoring, and supporting Nigeria's rich visual arts heritage. This program tackles key challenges such as art restoration, artist residencies, repatriation of looted artifacts, accurate valuation, and commercialization. A central goal is to protect Nigeria’s artistic treasures while promoting sustainable use through awareness campaigns, cultural education, and public access to previously unseen collections at the National Gallery of Art (NGA). Ongoing discussions with several countries aim to repatriate stolen artifacts like the Benin Bronzes, increasing global awareness of Nigeria's cultural history and reclaiming its artistic legacy.
New Kulture
New Kulture initiative focuses on blending tradition with modernity to shape the future of Nigeria’s creative sector. Positioned at the intersection of cultural heritage and technological innovation, New Kulture aims to create an inclusive and sustainable creative economy. By fostering collaboration across industries, the initiative supports cultural and technological advancements while celebrating Nigeria's rich traditions. Through partnerships with global entertainment platforms like Got Talent and animation projects such as Echoes of Heritage, New Kulture is designed to empower Nigeria’s creative talents and showcase its heritage through innovative and boundary-pushing mediums.
Design Nexus (Fashion, Product, Interior, Architecture)
This initiative aimed to inspire extraordinary creativity and innovation in fashion, interior design, and architecture. As Nigerian fashion continues to flourish, especially under the influence of entrepreneurial women, Design Nexus seeks to leverage this momentum by fostering an ecosystem that supports designers and creatives across various disciplines. With flagship events like Lagos Fashion Week 2024 and global recognition through platforms like Vogue, this initiative promotes Nigeria’s rising stars in fashion, interior design, and architecture, offering a platform for global exposure while driving economic growth in the creative industries.
Renewed Hope Creative Economy Development Fund
Renewed Hope Creative Economy Development Fund is designed to empower young Nigerians by providing critical funding and leveraging intellectual property (IP) assets to drive growth in the creative sector. The fund aims to democratize access to finance through innovative solutions like debt, quasi-equity, and equity financing, allowing creatives to use their IP assets as collateral. With a multi-stakeholder funding approach involving the government, private sector, and NGOs, the initiative allocates resources toward training, project management, and independent oversight.
FMACCE
FMACCE is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and development of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and the creative industries. The Ministry’s initiatives span capacity building, infrastructure development, cultural heritage preservation, intellectual property protection, and the integration of technology in culture.
