PROFILE OF MR AYODELE.O. ADEBANJO.

He is the Assistant Director, Overseeing the Office of Director, Tourism Support Services.

Mr Ayodele is a seasonal théocratie with a robust background in the field of Tourism and recreation. He leverages Tourism Statistics, Ecotourism, Hospitality and Tourism Management. He holds a Master's degree from the prestigious University of Ado Ekiti, formerly Ondo State University. He attended Alakunre Comprehensive High School, Christ School, Ado-Ekiti and Ereko Methodist Primary School, Lagos.

His career started with the National Youth Service Corps in Warri, Delta State with Shell Petroleum Development Company, Western division.

Mr Ayodele is recognised for his leadership and commitment to fostering a more prosperous tourism sector. Acknowledging his achievements, he was selected to attend the UN -Tourism Capacity Building Programme on Tourism Statistics and Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) from 2009 to 2010. Further, he represents the country both internationally and locally in the field of Tourism in several areas such as the Global Wildlife Programme, Wildlife Tourism, and Tourism Management. Presently, heserves as the National Desk Officer for Tourism Statistics geared towards producing comprehensive statistical data on tourism for the National account,he also servesas Technical Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Tourism. He will be overseeing the Department of Tourism Support Services, hence, he is to undertake ground-breaking initiatives that will engineer a dynamic step to bring tourism to contribute to the income of the country and facilitate ease of harnessing the potential of various tourism assets in the country which will bring digital transformation for the tourism industry.
