Kufre Ukpong Is a Public Procurement and Public Private Partnership specialist, born in Lagos, Nigeria is from Akwa Ibom State. He is a Specialist who has garnered experience working in various sectors of the nation’s public services in his over thirty years of service to the nation.

He is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing Supply Management of Nigeria, with a first degree in Political Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Economic from the University of Lagos, Lagos Master of Business Administration (Investment and Finance) and Master’s in International Affairs and Diplomacy (International Development) from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He has additional certification from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (Public Procurement), UK College of Project Management (Project Management), Institute of Development Administration (Monitoring and Evaluation) among others. He is also a Rhema Bible Training Centre Nigeria Alumni and bi-vocational Minister who enjoys pioneering mission works.

Professionally, he is focused is on achieving value for money and fitness for purpose in all public procurement.  He has participated in major procurement projects across several   Ministries and Extra Ministerial Departments. He has served in the Federal Civil Services Commission, Presidency (State-House, Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Millenium Development Goals and Office of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation), Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Ministry of Finance, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing.

He is a bibliophile and enjoys scouting and communities’ service. He is happily married with kids.
