Head of Department Planning, Research and Statistics
Mrs. Gloria Inyangabasi is currently the Deputy Director, overseeing the Planning, Research and Statistics Department. She attended her Primary and Secondary Education at the Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls’ Primary and Secondary schools, Yaba, Lagos between 1976 – 1985. She proceeded to the then University of Cross Rivers State where she obtained her National Certificate of Education (NCE) and immediately proceeded to the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for her Bachelor’s Degree programme in Economics/ Education in 1992 and her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in Lagos in 1993.
In 1994, she was employed into the Federal Civil Service where she started her career as an Administrative Officer II, GL 08. After some few years she went for her Postgraduate studies at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi where she obtained both Post graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Master’s Degree in Public Administration (PGDPA / MPA) in 2012 – 2014.
Her career in the Federal Civil Service started at the then National Planning Commission in 1994 -2005 and then she was posted to other Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) like the Federal Ministries of Health, Special Duties & Intergovernmental Affairs, Mines & Steel Development, Information and Culture, the Federal Civil Service Commission and presently, the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture & Creative Economy and Federal Ministry of Tourism as a Deputy Director, overseeing the PRS Department.
Her department, she has successfully carried out and achieved the routine mandates of the department especially in the area of organizing retreats and making sure that the Ministerial Deliverables/Performances of the Ministries are achieved through the Central Delivery Coordinating Unit (CDCU) in the office of the Special Assistant to the President on Policy Coordination in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and other official assignments.
